The Events

American Gladiators was the maxim of creativity when it came to the sports entertainment genre of television. Each event displayed it's own unique characteristic, and had it's own thrills. There were six events in season 1, seven events in seasons 2/3 & 5/7, and eight events in season 4. In each season, contenders would always end the competition with the Eliminator. The winner of this event would advance to the next round of competition.
