Ed Radcliffe premiered for the injured Laser, and stayed on for three episodes. He was brought in as an alternate, who's name was originally to be "Gibraltar" (the name was too big to fit on the uniform). During his entire run on the show (against contenders, in practice, against other gladiators), he never let anyone past him in the Gauntlet.
